You will be picked-up in a an agreed upon spot to begin your daily experience on board of the ape calessino, the limited edition created in 1947 the inventor of the Vespa, aircraft designer Corradino D’Ascanio who came up with the idea of building a light three wheeled commercial vehicle.

This limited edition named the Calessino has retro styling and came in an autorickshaw body. The bodywork was close to the Ape of the 1950s and 1960s and it is designed to evoke memories of the era of La Dolce Vita.

The first stop of your itinerary will be at the top of Isola Bella a small island located near the beach with the same name, in the Ionian Sea. Sometimes, when the tide is low, Isola Bella connects to the beach through a narrow sandy strip, becoming a peninsula.

The second stop will be at the Taormina Belvedere a little square with an outstanding view of the costs down Taormina from Giardini-Naxos to Syracuse with the magnificent Etna on the background.

After, you will hit road to reach Castelmola situated above Taormina, it formerly served as its acropolis.
At Castelmola, the eye gets lost in a palette of colours that makes it one of the most distinctive corners of Sicily.

It is no coincidence that it is considered among the most beautiful villages in Italy, with breath-taking views, thanks to its altitude of over 500 metres.

To complete the picture, several artistic, historical, and urban treasures not least the castle and medieval monuments.
